Brass Refracting Telescope on Wood Base

Inspired by a French 19th century piece, this Brass Refracting Telescope is mounted on a hexagonal pillar base, which is a mahogany color. Two doors open to reveal a second telescope which is removable. The door exteriors are decorated with a coat of arms, the interior of the doors with measurement tables. There is one drawer at the bottom. It measures 10" at the base x 29" high. The exterior telescope is 17" long. This is a true conversation piece!
