ORIGINAL SAILORS WOOL WORK ART

Sailors Wool Work, also know as "woolies", are antique pieces actually stitched by hand by seamen on ships to pass time at sea when not working. Framed in brown wood, they are done in wool on linen. C 1880. It measures 21.5 x 17. The back covering is very worn. Creator- unknown.
